The project team and representatives from the Malagasy authorities met in Antananarivo to share the project’s objectives and work plan and to discuss and brainstorm on the priorities and main challenges to develop agricultural water management in Madagascar. The needs assessment methodology to identify priorities related to agricultural water management investments for poverty reduction in the country was also discussed.
