FAO will organize a national workshop in Antananarivo on 13 June to validate the livelihood zone maps and the suitability maps of selected agricultural water management solutions, which will be needed to support the development of the investment brief in agricultural water management in Madagascar. The workshop will gather a multidisciplinary group of experts who already attended the mapping workshop in 2016 and who provided quality technical advice for the mapping process. This group includes the key players from the Government and from the main national institutions and organizations with interest and influence in agricultural water management in the country.
