En juin 2024, un grand groupe des Peuples Autochtones Mascho Piro a été repéré au bord d'une rivière dans le sud de l'Amazonie péruvienne. Il s'agissait d'un spectacle rare, car les Mascho Piro vivent volontairement isolés dans les forêts riches qui couvrent la région. New York - From the 15th to the 26th of April 2024, the 23rd Session of the UN Permanent forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) is taking place at the UN Headquarters in New York.
