CHINAR celebrates IMD 2019 with a festival

The Central Himalayan Institute for Nature and Applied Research (CHINAR) celebrated the ecological and cultural heritage of the Indian Himalaya for International Mountain Day 2019. The event in Liti village, Bageshwar, Uttarakhand was attended by more than 1 200 people and more than 200 people performed traditional dances and more. Cultural events took place, including exhibitions, games and art competitions.
