Commemoration of International Mountain Day 2024

Malawi will join the global community in commemorating this year’s International Mountain Day on 14th December, 2024 at Kasina Seminary Ground on the foot of Dzenza Mountain in Dedza District.
Activities for the IMD will include Hiking, Tree planting, pavilions on efforts by different stakeholders, projects and initiatives for conservation of mountains and mountain biodiversity, displays on various mountain products and traditional dances and performances showcasing mountain cultures
The Minister of Agriculture is expected to be the Guest of Honor at the event
