FAO's Global Soil Partnership is pleased to invite you to its first webinar: Towards the implementation of the International Code of Conduct for the Sustainable Use and Management of Fertilizers (Fertilizer Code). The Webinar will be held on line on the 19 May 2020 from 2 to 3pm CEST. 

The objectives of the webinar are to:

Disseminate the Fertilizer Code and its purpose and objectives.

Discuss about the implementation modalities of the Fertilizer Code.

Provide an opportunity for different stakeholders to express their views regarding the Fertilizer Code.

The Global Framework on Water Scarcity in Agriculture (WASAG) hosted by the FAO Land and Water Division invites you to its first webinar on mainstreaming Gender in Water Scarcity in Agriculture under the title: WATER SCARCITY, ABUNDANCE OF WOMEN?

FAO, in collaboration with the Women for Water Partnership (WfWP), a WASAG Partner, will share HOW WOMEN CAN PLAY A BETTER ROLE IN MANAGING WATER SCARCITY IN AGRICULTURE.

The event is the third of a series of the initiative on “Mediterranean Diet’s Principles for Agenda 2030”. This series started in September 2019 and will continue throughout 2020 with subsequent sessions designed to raise awareness on how the Mediterranean Diet principles can help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, by exploring different related characteristics of the Mediterranean Diet and other traditional diets, such as biodiversity conservation, women’s empowerment, urban-rural linkages and food loss and waste management.
