World Toilet Day is celebrated annually on 19 November to inspire action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and help achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6), which promises sanitation for all by 2030.

The Day was designated by the UN General Assembly on 24 July 2013 by resolution A/RES/67/291.

The International Network of Soil Information Institutions (INSII) is composed by nationally mandated institutions and GSP partners developing the Global Soil Information System (GLOSIS).

These institutions are also active members of the Regional Soil Partnerships. INSII members are the main implementing institutions of the Pillar 4 Implementation plan. These institutions have the technical ability to develop and share selected national soil information and data. All institutions, whether sub-national or national, regional or global, can join the INSII network for collecting and distributing information on the status of the soil resource.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is participating in Cairo Water Week 2020 taking place from the 24th to 28th of October 2020.  It will bring in evidences from science and the field with Its NENA regional water scarcity initiative (WSI), a regional partnership gathering key water stakeholders in the Near East and North Africa region.

The conference aims at connecting water organizations and wider water sector industries, regional interests, and communities concerned with the broad topic of water and sustainable development. FAO is organizing and participating in numerous events during Cairo Water Week.
