AQUASTAT - Global Water Information System of FAO
AQUASTAT is FAO’s global information system on water and agriculture. It collects, analyses and disseminates data and information by country and by region. Its aim is to provide policy-makers, decision-makers and researchers with the most accurate and up-to-date information available on water resources and agricultural water management. AQUASTAT contains country profiles, including links to relevant institutions with water focus, and time series of statistics on water resources, water use, irrigation and drainage, conservation agriculture, water harvesting, environment and health. In addition it contains some spatial data products: Global Map of Irrigated Areas, Atlas of Water Resources and Irrigation in Africa, and the global Georeferenced Database on large dams.
