The second AQUASTAT Workshop will be held in Bari, Italy from 4 to 6 December 2018. This workshop represents an opportunity to discuss both content and format of the AQUASTAT database, the related questionnaire, data collection process and its challenges. It will gather a group of AQUASTAT national correspondents and international experts in water related domains, as well as experts from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari (CIHEAM Bari) and from FAO. 

National correspondents will have the chance to share their views and different approaches in collecting data, while the international experts will facilitate and contribute to the discussion with their experience and knowledge. Outcomes of the workshop will guide the AQUASTAT Programme on how to improve the database content and to streamline the process for data acquisition.
