Les applications de données géo référencées, SIG / télédétection dans les domaines de l'agriculture, de l'hydroélectricité, de l'environnement et de la pêche
In the framework of the TCP project Renforcement de la gestion des ressources en eau transfrontalières sur le bassin du fleuve Sénégal, and in collaboration with the Organisation pour la mise en valeur du fleuve Sénégal (OMVS) and the FAO offices of the Senegal River Basin, the FAO Land and Water Division – Water Governance is leading a training from 9 to 12 April 2018 in Conakry, Guinea.
The training will be entitled Les applications de données géo référencées, SIG / télédétection dans les domaines de l'agriculture, de l'hydroélectricité, de l'environnement et de la pêche and it falls within the project activities to strengthen OMVS’ and basin countries’ capacities on multi-objective management of water resources through remote-sensing and GIS applications.
The event will address about 25 participants among OMVS as well as Guinea, Mali, Mauritania and Senegal specialists with the aim to support evaluation and planning at basin level in a number of domains (agriculture, environment, fishing, hydrology, and others).
