Mr Nasar Hayat, FAO Representative to Lao PDR presented his credentials to  H.E. Dr. PhouangParisak Pravongviengkham, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. H.E. Dr. PhouangParisak Pravongviengkham, Deputy Minister for MAF received the credentials on behalf of the ministry. H.E. the Deputy Minister resolved to increase cooperation between FAO and MAF and to increase the programmatic funding for agriculture and related activities. H.E. Dr. PhouangParisak Pravongviengkham also shared his ministry’s vision for FAO’s support to the country. The newly appointed FAO Representative resolved to support the Ministry in achieveing the goals and targets set under the 8^thNational Socio-Economic Development Plan for the sector.
