New legal brief about the constitutional recognition of the right to adequate food in El Salvador

The Development Law Service (LEGN) and FAO El Salvador published a legal brief about the constitutional recognition of the right to adequate food in El Salvador. This brief is part of a series, whose objective is to highlight and disseminate the importance of recognizing the right to adequate food in the Constitutions. It especially focuses on countries going through constitutional reforms.

The right to adequate food is the right of all people to feed themselves in dignity. The constitutional recognition of this right contributes to achieve its effective realization for all people, leaving no one behind.
