DescriptionAnnounced that it would extend the 15 percent discount on electricity tariffs for rice processors until the end of 2019. Among other measures unveiled to support the rice sector, it would amend the conditions and coverage of credit guarantees available for rice producers through the National Guarantee System (SIGa), the Banco República (BROU) would refinance loans, while it proposed set up a working group to analyse the establishment of a new trust fund for the rice sector.
