DescriptionAnnounced that in 2020 it would develop and implement a response plan to ensure domestic food security amid the COVID-19 crisis. Measures envisaged under the plan would be aimed at: i) stabilizing the acreage and output of major crops by providing incentives to major producing regions; ii) supporting the recovery in pig production; iii) raising the volume of inventories and improving the management of public grain reserves; and iv) diversifying imports of major agricultural commodities and inputs.
