NotesUNITED STATES – pesticide regulation: In January, the Environmental Protection Agency reaffirmed that glyphosate-based herbicides are not cancerogenic when used according to instructions provided on product labels. Meanwhile, US pesticide manufacturers continue facing lawsuits concerning alleged health issues and off-site damage to non-targeted crops resulting from the use of, respectively, glyphosate and dicamba.
