DescriptionIndicated that it had increased funds destined for distribution of agricultural inputs and equipment to small-holders by 50 percent to XOF 20 billion (USD 33 million), in order to support productive activities during the 2020 season in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The move was in line with its target of boosting paddy production to 1.5 million tonnes and attaining self-sufficiency in rice.
