DescriptionRepealed previously enforced maximum retail prices on rice and set a price ceiling of LKR 98 (USD 0.52) per kg of steamed Samba rice (white/red, excepting Keeri Samba and Suduru Samba) and of steamed Nadu rice (white/red, excepting Mottaikarupan and Attakari), effective 19 December 2019.
