DescriptionAnnounced plans to allocate MMK 20 billion (USD 15.2 million) to purchase paddy and rice harvested during the 2020 monsoon crop cycle. Purchases would be conducted through the Agricultural Products Management Committee and in line with the floor price of MMK 520 000 per 100 baskets (USD 189 per tonne) established for the season.
