DescriptionPublished guidelines on the country\'s rural development work for 2021. The document stresses efforts to push rural vitalization and accelerate the modernization of agricultural and rural areas. In this regard, the Government set a target of increasing maize acreage by more than 667 000 hectares in key growing areas in 2021, as part of a plan to maintain grain output above 650 million metric tonnes, to ensure food security.
