DescriptionApproved a plan to lower surcharges levied on rice exports to the European Union and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) conducted under tariff rate quotas. These were lowered from THB 2 500 (USD 80) per tonne to THB 1 500 (USD 48) for rice destined to the European Union and to THB 1 200 (USD 38) per tonne for rice shipped to the United Kingdom.
