DescriptionAnnounced its annual tariff adjustment plan that sets tentative import and export tariff rates for select tariff lines in 2021, including lowering tariff rates for certain dairy products such as anhydrous lactose (HS 17021100) from the current 10 percent to 5 percent. Rates for whey protein powder and lactoferrin (HS 35022000) have been added and lowered from 10 percent to 5 percent. The rate for special dairy-based infant formula food (HS 19011010) for premature/low birthweight babies and nutrition supplement for breastmilk was set at 0 percent in 2021. However, the tentative tariffs for regular infant formula milk powders that share the same code HS 19011010 will remain unchanged at 5 percent.
