DescriptionRaised tariffs on meat and edible offal from 30 percent to 35 percent, as part of the effort to increase the competitiveness of domestic producers by imposing higher tariffs on locally produced products and lower tariffs on raw materials. The Government introduced the new policy while releasing a revised edition of the customs tariff book, covering more than 8 000 tariff line items.
