DescriptionAnnounced that, in an effort to stabilise prices of essential items, Lanka Sathosa, cooperatives and Q-shops would sell 27 items at reduced prices for three months, effective from 8 February 2021. In the case of rice, these prices would pass from LRK 105-140 (USD 0.53-0.71) to 93-125 (USD 0.47-0.63) per kg.
