DescriptionAnnounced a package of measures against the impact of the war in Ukraine to enhance food security and support European Union farmers suffering from high costs of inputs such as energy and fertilizers. The plan provides EUR 500 million (around USD 551 million) in aid to assist farmers affected by market disruptions, input costs and trade restrictions. Other measures include storage assistance for pig meat, flexibility on animal feed imports and an advance on CAP payments.
