DescriptionApproved a budget of EUR 169 million (USD 179 million) for a Spanish scheme to support milk producers, under the State Aid Temporary Crisis Framework, adopted by the Commission on 23 March 2022. Under the scheme, the government will provide direct grants to compensate for the increase in electricity, animal feed and fuel costs caused by the current geopolitical crisis and related sanctions. The amount per beneficiary will not exceed EUR 35 000 (USD 37 067) and the measure will be effective until 31 December 2022.
