DescriptionApproved the extension of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana scheme for 2021 to 2026. The scheme, which provides grants to state governments to implement irrigation-related projects, was earlier approved for the period 2015 to 2021 with a budget of INR 50 000 crore (USD 6.54 billion). The scheme has now been extended with a budget of INR 93 068 crore (USD 12.18 billion) for the extended period.
