DescriptionDecided to purchase 650 000 tonnes of paddy, 1.1 million tonnes of parboiled rice and 50 000 tonnes of white rice from the 2022 Boro harvest. The supplies would be purchased between 28 April and 31 August 2022 and would offer BDT 27 per kg of paddy (USD 305 per tonne), BDT 40 per kg of parboiled rice (USD 452 per tonne) and BDT 39 per kg (USD 441 per tonne) of white rice.
