DescriptionImplemented a new EUR 1.2 million (USD 1.33 million) scheme that will pay farmers up to EUR 150 (USD 161) per hectare to grow mixes of protein and cereal crops. The scheme was part of the response to the cost increases facing Irish farmers and follows on from the launch of the Tillage Incentive Scheme in early April.
