DescriptionDecided to revise the Social Security Contribution Levy Act No 25 of 2022 in order to exempt paddy purchases and the production and sale of rice from the social security levy imposed by that Act. The measure seeks to have paddy producers receive a higher price for their product by lowering costs incurred further along the supply chain.
