DescriptionDecided to purchase 400 000 tonnes of parboiled rice, 200 000 tonnes of paddy and 100 000 tonnes of white rice from the 2023/24 Aman harvest, starting in November. The procurement drive would offer BDT 30, 43 and 44 (USD 269, 386, and 395 per tonne) per kg of paddy, white and parboiled rice, respectively.
