DescriptionDecided that Certificates of Inspection by the Export Inspection Council/Export Inspection Agency would not be mandatory for exports of basmati and non-basmati rice to European countries other than members of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The measure took immediate effect and will be valid for six months.
