DescriptionDecided that it would purchase an additional 150 000 tonnes of parboiled rice and 50 000 tonnes of white rice harvested during the 2023/24 Aman crop cycle by 28 February 2024. The decision brought targeted state purchases from the Aman crop to a total of 550 000 tonnes of parboiled rice, 150 000 tonnes of white rice and 200 000 tonnes of paddy.
