DescriptionApproved a budget of THB 55 billion (USD 1.5 billion) to help stabilize paddy prices during the 2023/24 season. The funds would go to implement a loan program for farmers and producer institutions seeking to delay the sale of 3.0 million tonnes of paddy for 5 months and an interest subsidy for farmer organizations and millers who purchase and store up to 1.0 million tonnes of paddy.
