DescriptionAnnounced plans to launch pilot projects to boost biodiesel production and consumption domestically. The National Energy Administration (NEA) will support demonstration projects and provide financial aid, aiming at exploring various pathways for biodiesel applications and identifying replicable models for further expansion in biodiesel usage. The NEA would also promote the inclusion of biodiesel in the country’s voluntary emission reduction mechanism, known as China Certified Emission Reduction (CCER).
