DescriptionFollowing consultations with industry stakeholders, set ceilings on retail prices of rice and other basic foodstuffs. For the Dakar region, these were set at USD 552 per tonne (FCFA 280 per kilo) of non-fragrant broken rice and at USD 857 per tonne (FCFA 435 per kilo) of fragrant broken rice. Price ceilings in other regions were determined taking into account costs of transport.
