DescriptionApproved a Bolívares 2.13 subsidy per kg of paddy produced (USD 338 per tonne). The assistance will be granted on top of official producer support prices of Bolívares 2.50–2.58 per kg (USD 396–409 per tonne) for quantities gathered between 1 August and 30 December 2013. The initiative follows the allocation of a Bolívares 3.0 billion (USD 475 million) special fund designated to assist agricultural producers in the country.
