DescriptionAnnounced that it intends to buy 1.0 million tonnes of rice and 150 000 tonnes of paddy from the 2013-2014 Boro harvest. Volumes are to be purchased between May and September 2014 at Taka 31 per kilo (USD 391 per tonne) of rice and Taka 20 per kilo of paddy (USD 252 per tonne).
