DescriptionIntroduced the Program for the Relaunch and Acceleration of Senegalese Agriculture (PRACAS). The scheme's rice component is expected to support the country's goal of reaching self-sufficiency in rice 2017, by intensifying irrigated rice production in the Senegal River Valley and Anambé basin and rainfed production in the Casamance region.
