DescriptionOpened bids for 450 000 tonnes of rice from government stocks through an open tender held on 14 May 2014. A separate tender of 220 000 tonnes was conducted through the Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand (AFET) the same day, but was subsequently cancelled due to low bidding prices.
