DescriptionDecided to extend a 50% subsidy on the cost of diesel to farmers affected by drought and deficient rains and to raise ceilings on seed subsidies by 50% to Rupees 1500-7500 (USD 25-123) per 100 kilograms, as part of measures put in place to support producers affected by rainfall shortfalls and to lessen the impact of adverse weather on production.
