DescriptionAnnounced that it would not pursue the renewal of quantitative restrictions on rice, following the expiration of the WTO special treatment on 31 December 2014. Officials will determine eventual tariff rates to be applied thereafter, based on WTO criteria, and communicate them by September 2014.
