DescriptionRelaxed the ban on milled rice exports. Effective until August 2015, traders will be permitted to ship supplies abroad provided that, for every tonne they intend to export, they deliver 1 tonne of rice to the General Authority for Supply Commodities at Pounds 2 000 per tonne (USD 279). Exports will be additionally subject to USD 280 per tonne tax.
