DescriptionLifted the ban on imports of beef products from the EU which was imposed in 2001 after the outbreak of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE). Thailand partially relaxed the measure in 2006, but kept a ban in place on beef and beef products coming from a number of EU member states.
