DescriptionAnnounced that it would purchase 77 000 tonnes of surplus produce from the local market, as part of its price stabilization measures. This volume would come in addition to the 563 000 tonnes previously purchased under the Public Rice Stockholding Program, to keep prices in check and for the ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR).
