DescriptionReported that 2015/16 grain intervention purchases were to commence on 11 August 2015, with the aim of securing 2 million tonnes. However, it was subsequently announced that operations would be subject to a slight delay. On 19 August 2015, the Minister of Agriculture noted that grain had been purchased in Crimea to replenish stocks.
