DescriptionAuthorised a host of measures to assist farmers cope with drought. These will include steps to lower production costs, debt relief measures, cloud seeding operations and the promotion water conservation. An alternate job scheme would also be put in place, while producers would be encouraged to cultivate crops with low water requirements.
