DescriptionAnnounced that the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) will conduct wheat inspections at shipping and arrival ports, replacing government inspectors. The GOEIC, part of the Trade Ministry, is responsible for testing imported and exported products to ensure they meet quality standards. It will oversee inspection of maize and soybean imports, in addition to wheat.
