DescriptionRaised prices of imported wheat sold to the private sector by 4.6 percentage, effective from 1 April 2017. This increase is the first in two years and the weighted average price of five imported wheat brands will go up to JPY 50 690 (USD 444.8) per tonne from the current JPY 48 470 (USD 425.3).
