DescriptionSigned the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) with Canada on 30 October 2016, which covers nearly all Canada-EU trade, including trade in dairy products. The European Parliament voted in favour of CETA on 15 February 2017. The agreement will come into full force only when all EU member states ratify it.
