DescriptionSet 27 February 2017 as the enforcement date for i) mandatory declaration of trans fat and saturated fat content on food product labels, and ii) a 5 percent limit for trans fatty acid content in fats, oils and fat emulsions. Eventually, the compliance date was postponed to 30 June 2017 to allow manufacturers to utilize the existing stock of their packaging material.
